Welcome to my food blog, where I share my favourite places to eat in Ottawa. Firstly, here’s a little bit about me, Ravi Shanghavi of Ottawa…
Ravi Shanghavi has lived in Canada his entire life, and is a proud Ottawa resident. Ravi has had a successful career as an IT architect, having worked for multinational technology companies such as Nokia and Hewlett-Packard (HP). In this time, Ravi has gained a number of certifications, such as a Project Management Professional (PMP) designation. Beyond IT architecture, Shanghavi’s areas of expertise include cloud computing, virtualisation, and big data.
Today, Ravi is President of Antilia Homes, which he founded in 2014. Antilia Homes are a custom home builders serving the Ottawa region, providing luxury, bespoke new homes and rentals to the region’s future homeowners, tenants, and investors. Ravi combines his rich local knowledge of Ottawa with his professional Project Management experience to guide the company, and is excited to carry Antilia forward in the coming years.
I love living in Ottawa, it’s full of vibrant communities such as Westboro Village, which is both beautifully scenic and tranquil, but also has a buzzing scene of restaurants, coffee shops and independent businesses. I’m a bit of a foodie, and so I hope to share some of my favourite spots to eat in Ottawa on this new blog. I also enjoy architecture, so do check out my Pinterest page where I curate my favourite buildings and plans, and another of my blogs where I discuss my current property projects in Ottawa.
